Bookmarked stores the information needed to provide saved chats, cited answers, protected source viewing, and beta product improvement.

Data collected

Bookmarked may store account email, chat sessions, questions, answers, retrieved citations, source page view events, saved source notes, uploaded book metadata, subscription events if billing is later enabled, and model token usage.

Why data is used

Data is used to operate the app, secure accounts, enforce usage limits, improve answer quality, debug reliability issues, measure source-view behavior, and support future author or rights-holder reporting.

User uploads

Uploaded files and source metadata are used to provide reading and research features. Users should not upload sensitive or unauthorized material during the beta.

Retention and deletion

Users can export account data and delete their account from the account page. Some audit, abuse-prevention, security, or operational records may be retained where needed to operate the service responsibly.
